As the year draws to a close I want to comment on what I consider to be the biggest news story of the past year. No, it’s not Michael Jackson, Afghanistan, Levi Johnston or Swine Flu.

In June, I stopped biting my fingernails! I know that might not seem like a big deal … but after 30+ years of constant chewing it’s a pretty big deal to me. Viva, fingernails!
