And a little over 24 hours I am back in North Carolina.

We were up at 7:00 and on the road back to North Carolina by 8:00 this morning.

The ride (up and down) was pretty uneventful … with lots of the Tennessee and Kentucky countryside flying by. Of note was the massive “Adult World” store just off I-75 in the middle-of-nowhere Pioneer, TN. About 500 yards north of the store someone has erected a giant cross that towers over “Adult World.” I guess Jesus needs to do battle with those Evil Sellers of Pornography.

I suppose the trip would have been more fun it hadn’t been go-go all the time.

But I did get to see a wee bit of downtown Lousiville, the mighty Ohio River and Handsome Thomas at Buca di Bippo.
