Now broadcasting semi-alive from Louisville, KY!
That probably sounds more exciting than it really is. I am here on a work trip. It’s been one of these whirlwind “drive up one day/work a convention/drive back the next day” treks. We are trying to drum up more business from Skyline Chili.
The convention was a semi-successful/semi-bust thing … and kinda exhausting after spending most of the day in the car and then rushing to get our little booth set up.
Afterwards we had dinner at Buca di Beppo where I feel madly in lust with Thomas, our ruggedly handsome waiter with a slightly black eye. I wonder if he got that black eye from some thrilling bar fight or if it was the result of something silly and mundane.
*Sigh*
Besides that … it’s really flat here. It makes me wonder how people can stand the flat land. I need mountains.
