Turns out that the Migration Utility wasn’t usable. Grrrrr. Maybe it’s because the other Mac is so old. Anyway, I turned on file sharing and networked the two and “BAM!” Work files were transferred in no time at all. Now I just gotta re-hook and get my photos. Even when the easy stuff doesn’t work out, Mac is still simple and easy to figure out. Screw you, Windows!!!
Meanwhile …
“Stacks” is, like, soooooooo cool! I love it!
“Quick Look” is quite handy and I am sure that I will become a big fan of this ‘lil feature.
“Spaces” looks a little confusing and possibly might be useless. But I am gonna try it out and see. Who knows … I might love it as well!
Glad to hear it wasn’t too much of a pain to get your files on the new Mac. I guess the migration tool only works with newer macs.
I’m not sure about Spaces and Stacks. I found them to be a pain. I like the grid instead of the stack.
Hmmmmm. The novelty of Stacks might wear on me as well … but for now it’s cool. And I LOVE the built in iSight camera … it’s smoooooooooth.
