It’s election day, folks … so get out there and do your part. Especially get out and vote if you live in Virginia, Tennessee, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, South Carolina, South Dakota and Wisconsin … states in which religious conservatives seek to treat you or your relatives/friends/neighboors as second class citizens. Apathy is no excuse! If you don’t vote, you are part of the problem. We can affect change (get those Republican fucks out of office) but only if YOU make the effort. Your vote does count!
I live in Virginia and I voted! I hope my vote counts and we get the right people in office and defeat the admendment to our constitution.
I already voted, and my lovely wife is working all day at Dem. HQ to help with the effort.
I think Chris Matthews (Hardball) said it best last night…he referred to the night before Election Day as “Christmas Eve for us political junkies”.
